The COMEDOGENIC rating explained.
There is a very important constituent in every oil used in skincare – its Comedogenic Rating. This rating shows how much the oil is likely to ‘block’ pores or become occlusive to pores. We prefer to describe this rating as ‘how rich the oil is’ rather than ‘likely to block pores’ as this can sound a bit scary. Some skins need light oils (younger skin, skins prone to congestion, acne prone skin) and some skins need richer oils, (more mature skins, dry skin and skins that can only handle a light amount of oil and body products).

To protect the skin as a non congesting moisturiser and skin purifier. Contains antioxidants and vitamins A, C, and E, and both omega 6 and omega 9 fatty acids.
Deeply hydrating, reduces inflammation and is suitable for all skin types. The rich composition of essential fatty acids help to restore elasticity to the skin.
SINGLE ESTATE PLANTATION SANTALUM ALBUM ESSENTIAL OIL
High concentration Sandalwood (Santalum Album) essential oil, sourced from a single estate, family run, sustainable source in Western Australia.
Beautifully astringent, helping to nourish the skin, improve the elasticity of skin cells and even out skin tone.
Can be beneficial in reducing the appearance of scars. According to a 2018 study, sandalwood and honey was shown to prevent or minimize hypertrophic or thick, raised scarring.
